OUR INTERNATIONAL PROJECT:
RIZZY'S WATER WELLS

IN 2021, WE LOST OUR DEAR BROTHER RIZZY.

​RIZZY WAS A PART OF THE BOS COMMUNITY TEAM AND WAS TRULY DEDICATED TO THIS WITH INCREDIBLE PASSION. ONE OF RIZZY’S GOALS WAS TO BUILD A WATER WELL (THE GIFT OF LIFE FOR 100 YEARS) IN KENYA. HE WORKED HARD ON A 3-YEAR GOAL TO RAISE $5000 AND TO ONE DAY VISIT THE WELL.​

WE HONOUR RIZZY BY GIVING BACK THE GIFT OF LIFE, WATER. THE GIFT OF 100 YEARS.

SPREAD THE WARMTH

Our mission is to help the homeless survive the harsh winters in the GTA. We provide essentials to those in need, such as gloves, toques, socks, t-shirts, and basic health products for men and women.

Every year, we accept donations in the form of money or the clothing items mentioned above.

Our future goal is to help end homelessness in the GTA. We have partnered with several organizations that assist in providing hot meals, blankets, and water bottles during our campaign.

So here is our plan

THE PRICE OF THE WELL DEPENDS ON THE DEPTH, WHICH TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION:

  • The availability of ground water or proximity to the water table
  • The technology available or used
  • Levels of pollution. For example, in areas where arsenic is high, deeper wells are typically built as the groundwater is likely to be contaminated.

 

It takes between 3-5 months for the well to be completed. However, challenges such as lock downs and weather can lead to delays. Once the well is completed, we will share with you the final report which includes pictures and possibly videos of the individual wells. The report will have the exact location of the well, as well as who is benefiting from it.

WE LOST OUR BROTHER RIZZY SO WE WILL BE PLACING A PLAQUE IN HIS HONOUR ON THE WELL. WE HONOUR RIZZY BY GIVING BACK THE GIFT OF LIFE, WATER.
